In an effort to promote greater literacy, all SBHS students are required to read additional books outside of their regular classroom reading. In addition, students read independently for approximately fifteen minutes each school day during Reading Time. Supporting these initiatives, the SBHS Library Media Center carries a wide selection of AR books and continuously strives to increase the variety of levels, types, and genres.
